Brokerage — buying & selling

Sell your yacht

Sell at the right price. Buy with confidence.

A yacht's saloon: a velvet corner seat and marble coffee tables, a panoramic window open onto the sea and a wooded shore.

Our sale process

Valuation, listing, buyer qualification, negotiation, legal security of the transaction: Adaly sells your yacht with method and discretion — and guides every buyer, from the first sea trial to the handover of the keys.

  1. A yacht's foredeck alongside, masts and harbour boats in the background.

    Market study

Comparable sales, competing units, the state of the market right now. A boat's value is demonstrated, not decided.

  2. A yacht at anchor seen from the forward quarter, a person on the foredeck, the coast behind.

    Valuation and mandate

A market value you can argue, then a clear mandate: scope, duration, terms.

  3. The engine room: two engines, a central walkway and insulated bulkheads.

    Sale file

Inventory, service record, flag and tax status, photographs. Everything a buyer will ask for, gathered before they ask.

  4. A yacht from above, at anchor on turquoise water, a shade sail stretched above the aft deck.

    Listing

The price is set against what else is on the market. The listing goes where this boat's buyers are: broker networks, platforms, shows.

  5. A cabin: double berth, pale wood headboard and hull windows.

    Qualified buyers and viewings

Every enquiry is qualified before the viewing: who is buying, for what use, with what financing. Your boat is not shown to everyone.

  6. A yacht's foredeck: white sunpad, teak decking, open sea and clear sky to the horizon.

    Offer

The offer arrives in writing, with its price, its conditions and its deadlines. It reaches you exactly as written, with our reading of it.

  7. The helm: a three-spoke wheel, screens and controls, teak decking.

    The owner's acceptance

Accept, counter, refuse: the decision is yours. Nothing is committed without your signature.

  8. A yacht under way from above: forward sunpad, dark windows, foam along the hull.

    Survey and sea trial

The buyer has the boat surveyed and tries it at sea. Whatever the survey raises is settled: an adjustment to the price, work to be done, or conditions lifted.

  9. A yacht turning offshore, a broad wake of foam, a mountainous coast on the horizon.

    Signing and handover

Contracts, transfer of ownership and flag, deregistration. Legal security of the transaction, through to the handover of the keys.

Start with a valuation.

An argued market value, a clear mandate, and a decision that stays yours.

A motor yacht under way on open water, pale hull and dark hardtop; in the distance a wooded shore, hills and a few boats at anchor.
